Sarco and Aquastop delivered a festive success by stopping water leakage in Edinburgh, a UNESCO World Heritage city decorated for Christmas. Aquastop bagging deployment equipment was installed on a 9” water main at a location close to the historic Castle in November 2025.
Following a burst on the city-centre water main, a rapid overnight response by Jardine Utilities and Sarco, working for Scottish Water, successfully re-established supply and avoided disruption to iconic locations including Princes Street and the Royal Mile.
Another recent Aquastop success, maintaining water supply to South Queensferry Village, near the UNESCO World Heritage Forth Rail Bridge & two road bridges, each constructed in a different century.
