Cutter Specifications
MINITAP has designed a range of very long-lasting Diamond and Tungsten carbide-tipped cutters, which have been specifically developed to work across a wide range of water pipe materials.
Huge reduction in the holesaw consumable costs, as very long-lasting.

- Water Main Material: Steel – Cast Iron – Ductile Iron – Asbestos – Reinforced Concrete
- Cutter Type: Tungsten Carbide tipped
- Water Main Material: PVC “Blue brute” – MDPE cutter (optional) – MDPE
Hydraulic Power Options
The power pack and MINITAP is connected by an 8m long Hydraulic hose assembly which features a control unit that allows the user to run the device from outside the excavation. This control unit valve regulates hydraulic flow, allowing for safe use of MINITAP with larger hydraulic power packs, or connections to Auxiliary Hydraulic Connections already available on site.
