50 years of manufacturing were celebrated at Cadent Gas Open Days in May at their Erdington National Distribution Centre in Birmingham.

Cadent Technicians, who recently successfully repaired a major gas leak, using the award-winning Sarco Gas Stent on display, discuss the positive benefits for wider applications within the network. (SGN were partners for the innovative Stent project Development with support funding from N.I.A. Transport for London & North Kent Lanes.)
“Cadent Ted” joins the 50th celebration on the stand with our Executive Chairman. Cadent Gas has always been a much valued customer, going back to the original British Gas times in the mid 1970s.
Thailand Project Success
A Sarco Ultra Twin 28.5” dia.Vapour barrier bag system with 4 services through the bag set, with additional 1.5” dia rigid blow down vent tube, allowed a complex welding operation to be undertaken successfully and safely by a specialist UK contractor.
Factory Assessment Testing was completed for the client at Sarco's project development and training facility, using a full replica test pipe.
